Sunglass World tips and care for your Sunglasses

Now that you have your lovely new pair of sunglasses, here are some tips on how to care for them.

DO’s and DONT’s

DO, clean the lenses when they are inside their soft bag (less dust particles inside the bag)

DONT, use your T-Shirt, towel or tissue. (May contain lens abrasive elements)

DO, occasionally wash them under a warm tap using a mild liquid soap to remove grease etc.

DONT Soak, use hot water, strong soap, detergent, makeup remover or anything similar. (can cause lens and frame damage)

DO Keep them in their case when not using, travelling or in your handbag, luggage, briefcase.

DONT unless in their case, put in your handbag, briefcase, backpack or jacket pocket etc, as the lens is likely to be damaged by, keys or coins etc.

DO wear them on your face..where else?

DONT wear them on top of your head, behind your head, hold in your hand. (wearing anywhere other than your face WILL stretch the frame causing screws to come loose, lenses to fall out, arms to crack, nose bridges to break..this is the number 1 no no..

DO put them in the glove box when leaving the car.

DONT leave them in sight in your car, thieves can be tempted for a lot less than a pair of Ray Ban.

DO put them away in their case when you get home.

DONT leave them near cookers, on top of fires, on the sofa or anywhere near the dog or your lovely 2 year old.

Care for them and you’ll still have them in 20 years.....
